The NW Examiner is a gem, one of the things that makes the Northwest part of Portland (including The Pearl!) my favorite community. (You may have seen my ads in the paper in the past. I love working with them and supporting what I think is a wonderful part of our little corner of the world).

The NW Examiner Community Awards are an opportunity for the paper to recognize the hard work done by the awardees throughout the year to make our community even better.

It was inspiring to hear the work people have accomplished this year. These are people that are making a difference in our community in NW Portland!
