Well, it’s taken longer to get back to this than I had anticipated. It has been so long since my last vacation that I forgot how to end it. But now I’m back and recharged just in time for the 15th annual “Art in the Pearl” festival.
This event starts tomorrow and goes through Labor Day in the North Park blocks between NW Couch and NW Flanders. There will be around 130 artists showing and selling their work, a World Music Stage with artists performing world or roots music, and there will be lots of delicious food available. The weather will be sunny and warm while the beautiful trees of the North Park blocks provide plenty of shade so that you can fully enjoy the day. All events are free, and the festival goes from 10am to 6pm (5pm on Monday).
